I'm in the process of reading the wonderful book that is Jpod. I'm enjoying every page.... BUT out of nowhere I have the biggest desire to read Jane Eyre.... Don't ask. I'm not sure why either. But I want to. So I have purchased a copy of it. (I would've got one from the secret library... but it appears to be signed by Ms C Bronte herself... and therefore is restricted to the shelf and the category of 'reference only') Anyway my copy is sat upstairs ready and waiting. But I've still got the last 100 or so pages of Jpod to enjoy... So that is todays mission. I will finish Jpod. Savor it's every last word... and then Rochester just you wait....
On the other side of things I've just updated and posted a couple of new prints on etsy. Care to take a peek? Henry in Red and Henry in Blue. Followed by some little red trouble makers based on the paintings I've been doing loads of lately (scroll up). Ten's a Crowd
The summer's been put on pause but the birds are still singing away and a squirrel has moved into the garden :) I thought it was time to show off some of the things I've been drawing. Open sketch book day! Horrah!
Well work's still there. I'm having to take in ever growing bags of things to keep me entertained. The books are getting bigger and bigger. It does mean a lot of drawing is happening which is a bonus. I've got a long dark shift ahead of me as we speak... Maybe I'll take in some paints?
I've also been spending some of those hard earned pennies on etsy. My all time favourite purchase was a print from Pepperminte. You can sneak a peek of the print here. She's already framed and on my desk...
The Art Organisation was great fun apart from being locked away from the beautiful sunlight. It was nice to meet new people and fingers crossed there'll be more art fayre action at the end of this month. I'll keep you posted!

Etsy update!! Finally got round to sorting through some of the prints online. Better images added at last! phew... that took forever... Figured it was about time the account's been picking up dust!
Here's product of the week: I've been working on my monster characters and this little one looks fab framed. It's priced at $25 (12 quid-ish) and comes in different colours. Check the shop for details :)
The summer has finally arrived! How long it's going to stick around for though is another matter. Time to enjoy it while it lasts yes? Yep! Anyway this is a random post. I came back to find one of the lovely housemates had put her green fingers on and tidied up the garden. It looks so lovely I thought I'd share it :) My contribution was the chalk doodles ;) It's turning into an annual tradition...
This is our lovely wiggly tree full of pink flowers... they are everywhere...
These are some of the secret treasures we hide in corners of our garden. I was informed the other day that those large, white, deep (HEAVY) basins are very expensive things to lug about... I'm not entirely sure where ours came from but the plants have been keeping it safe all winter :)
Just to keep you posted on the art fayre front. I'll be selling some of my new monster prints, framed and unframed. Big and small. So Come along and check them out. (I'll get some pictures uploaded at somepoint this week. I'll also list them on my etsy closer to the time) Framed ones will go for around £12 - Bargain! Unframed - varying from £4-£10 - Uber Bargain!
