I've not done much this week apart from get stuck into Scott Pilgrim books. I'm currently making decisions about the show in September. There will be few familiar faces and some fresh ones to admire. I'll keep you posted on the details. So far it looks like it will be around the end of September (22nd or 23rd) and it will be on for 2 weeks. So if you're local or semi local, come visit :)
Some of this weeks reading material:
The league of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Scott Pilgrim 1 and 2
The Resurrectionist
Enjoy your Sunday

Iceland
It was a year ago give or take that I went on my Icelandic Adventure and I thought I'd share some pictures. All happy memories... apart from nearly being eaten alive by mozzies... sigh.
Found some time to do some drawing yesterday which made a nice change. When I wasn't drawing I was scouring etsy for treats but alas pay day is too far away and plus I don't need 8 rings, 3 jumpers and a variety of different small and colourful things. I just don't have enough limbs or shelf space to make those purchases worth while.
Back to the drawing board...

Three Fresh Faces
Hello there, I've just uploaded some fresh prints up for grabs on etsy. SO please check them out :) This is just a short post before I go back to work. (I had 4 days off which was nice) I haven't really been up to much but I can assure you that my nose is now clear from books. I'm done, I'm dusted and I'm ready to roll...
Wish me luck!!

Bring On The Colour!
Had a lovely lunch with the family and got to see the gran. We then sat in the garden with tea and soaked up some sun. Trouser legs rolled up... very british. All in all it has been a lovely sunday away from work :D I'm prepping myself for some serious photoshop time. It's been so long. Plus I get to try out my new printer.
I've been on a hunt for good colours today. I'm loving the electric blues and pale creams/green/greys. Vague is my middle name :) found this great site called colourlovers. Good source of inspiration I say.
Apart from looking at colours I will of course be browsing through all the sites admiring things...

Take A Peek
I picked up a copy of 'I'm a cyborg' on dvd yesterday before work. We had it for one night at work and getting the chance to watch it on the big screen was amazing. Such a good film, I highly recommend it to all :) We should've had it for a week at least it was sooo good. I'm looking forward to watching it again :D
I'm currently sat colouring and listening to the Olympics in the background. I thought I'd share what I've been working on this morning with you. It's called "The Look" and is now available in the shop so go check it out.
I'm about to move next door and do some scanning. The ideas are still brewing for the show in September. Looks like it's getting moved to the end of the month which is good because it gives us all more time. It's going to be a fun one I can assure you. I'll keep you posted with dates and details and of course snippits of what will be on show. Exciting!
Have a good un'

Beware The Stripes
I've just posted 2 new(ish) pictures up on etsy so please feel free to check them out :)
I say "new (ish)" I've had them on my flickr account and before that tucked away on my computer waiting for a rainy day. The colours work really well on both of these prints. I'd say they're definately bright and lively combos :)
I've nearly finished my book reading phase and I'll be back on track asap I promise with some new pictures. I'm also about to be donated an A3 printer which is quite exciting! It means I can actually start faffing about with larger images (obviously) and working on some fresh ideas... YES!! Well chuffed :D
Other than reading. I've been mainly at work. I've lost count of how many times I've worked on or watched Batman... I've also been spending money...
I've finally treated myself to a Ghostee by Axelhoney and some Mushrooms by Craftsty. I have a little ledge in the "studio"/spare room over the fireplace and I've got an uncontrolable urge to fill it with beautiful little things. So you have to start somewhere :)
Enjoy your Thursday

Here Comes The Sun
I've been hiding I'm sorry. I've also been walking back and forth past this blank billboard for a couple of days trying to resist the urge to paint large fluffy white clouds or a giant sun. Alas you can see the urge took hold of me... but the paint I found in photoshop and not wilkos. I see these blank spaces quite a lot around Nottingham and sometimes they are a lovely sky blue colour. Thats where the urge to draw the clouds came from... or a spaceship... I think this could be a start of a beautiful new game... Obviously they're nearly all by main roads and I was wobbling on the edge of the curb trying to snap this shot without meeting my maker.
haha... right I'm off to arm wrestle some people in a certain book shop... wish me luck!
